Homework
At Staples Road Primary, we define homework as any activity that pupils undertake outside of school lesson time, either on their own or with the support of family members/carers. We value parental/carer involvement and consider homework to be one way of developing this relationship. Homework encompasses a variety of activities instigated by teachers and/or parents/carers to support children’s learning. For example, reading a story with a child before bed, practising number bonds or times tables etc.
Learning Logs and pick and mix activities go home on the first Friday of a each half term and should be returned on the last Monday of each half term. Please Classdojo your child's classteacher for a copy of this half term's pick and mix activities.
